Since its inception in 2005, Terrafina Microfinance has set a clear focus on energizing African roots in three areas that here-to-fore were not getting much attention in the microfinance market:

1. Three sub-regions in Africa
   • West Africa; Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal)
   • The Horn (Ethiopia) 
   • The Great Lakes region (Rwanda, Burundi)
